College Star Wide Receiver Ladd McConkey has partnered with Six Star Pro Nutrition to get him ready for the upcoming draft. Known for his big game performances, this two-time college football champion recorded five receptions for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the 2023 college championship game, which his team ultimately won 65 to 7. As a scholar-athlete dedicated to making his Georgia community a better place, McConkey was the winner of a prestigious award that recognizes exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement. McConkey majored in finance and graduated from college in just three years with a 3.8 GPA.
Before becoming a star college football player, McConkey attended high school in Georgia where he made the varsity football team as a freshman. During his senior year of high school, he led his team to a 9-1 record, and the school’s first ever regional championship. Known for his speed, agility, and versatility on the field, McConkey now has his sights set on the pro game.

SIXSTAR: At SIXSTAR, we are all about supporting athletes throughout the different stages of their athletic and fitness journey. Do you have any advice for high school athletes who are eager to elevate their game?
Ladd McConkey: “Stay consistent. Day in and day out, you have to lock in. If you want something, go get it! Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t.”
SIXSTAR: How has your training program evolved from high school to college?
Ladd McConkey: “I always felt like I was training and conditioning hard leading up to college, but when I got there, I realized I had to take it up a notch. My coaches at Georgia did a great job getting me prepared for the draft and I continue to use the tools they taught me.”
SIXSTAR: As a two-time college football champion, is the champion mentality that you have something that you’ve always had from childhood or is it something you had to learn over time?
Ladd McConkey: “I feel like I have always been super competitive. I have an older brother who was always beating me – whether it was playing basketball or baseball. So, I was always striving to catch up with him. This kind of translated to all areas of my life.”
